The Corinthian Football Club was an English football team, based in London, that played at various venues including Crystal Palace, Queen's Club and Leyton. The team was founded in 1882 by N. Lane Jackson, assistant secretary of the Football Association, with the intention of developing a squad capable of challenging the supremacy of the Scotland football team.
