MARINELLO, fitted on an ebonised base, height 17cm., 6 1/2in.

In the 1970 Fairs Cup Final, Arsenal beat RSC Anderlecht 4-3 on aggregate to win their first European trophy. Peter Storey's trophy sold in these rooms 7th May 2008 for £6,500.

A crystal football trophy presented to West Ham United's Shaun Newton on the occasion of the match at Southend United for the Ron Poutney Testimonial 1st August 2000, engraved with the Southend United crest and inscribed 2000, SOUTHEND UNITED, BEST WISHES and with Poutney's facsimile signature, height 16.5cm., 6 1/12in.

Legendary Shrimper Ron Poutney had been scheduled to benefit from a testimonial match v West Ham 14 years earlier but the game had to be cancelled due to congestion in the Hammers fixture list. A group of committed Southend fans campaigned for the match to be re-arranged and it finally came to fruition on 1st August 2000.

An official 2014 UEFA Super Cup player's trophy, being a miniature replica of the competition trophy, in white metal on a malachite base, set with UEFA roundel, inscribed SUPER COMPETITION, and tied with white ribbons of Real Madrid, height 18.5cm., 7 1/4in.

The 2014 Super Cup was played at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, 12th August, and was won by Champions League holders Real Madrid who beat fellow Spanish club and UEFA Cup holders Sevilla 2-0.

A Manager of the Month Award presented to George Graham of Arsenal in season 1990-91, sponsored by Barclays, in the form of an Aynsley China plate, diameter 30.5cm., 12in.; sold together with a colour photograph of George Graham receiving the award on the pitch at Highbury; and 11 other b&w press photos of Graham with a good number depicting him being presented with various awards.

A metal dish presented by Nottingham Forest on the occasion of the 1980 European Cup final, in white metal with handles modelled as a pair of squirrels, inscribed EUROPEAN CHAMPION CLUBS' CUP, FINAL, MADRID 28th MAY 1980, WITH BEST WISHES, FROM, NOTTINGHAM FOREST F.C., engraved with the club crest, diameter across the handles 25cm., 9 3/4in.

Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest beat Hamburg 1-0 at the Bernabeu Stadium, Madrid to win the European Cup for the second successive year.

Miniature replicas of the UEFA European Cup and Super Cup trophies, both bases mounted with a FC Barcelona plaque, the Super Cup slightly taller 18cm., 7in.; sold with a Feyenoord glass goblet with electroplated foot and etched decoration commemorating the 1970 European Cup Final and Intercontinental Cup wins; the lot also including a keyring designed at the European Cup trophy, an old football vesta case, box and small tin; and a Keyman figure of Bobby Moore.
